Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Slipknot’s current band members are Sid Wilson, Joey Jordison, Paul Gray, Chris Fehn, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, and Corey Taylor. They are recognized as one of the pioneering bands in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal.

US singer-songwriter Isaac Hayes has died at his home in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 65.
Police were called after his wife found him unconscious next to a moving treadmill. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Hayes, a flamboyant, deep-voiced performer, won an Oscar for the 1971 hit Theme From Shaft.
He was perhaps better known to a younger audience as the voice of Chef from the hit cartoon show, South Park.

Faerghail was formed in the summer of 1995 by Kai Lehtinen (guitars), Petri Moisio (bass) and Tomi Kangassalo (drums) in order to play somekind of melodic metal. In the autumn of 1995 Jussi Ranta and Tuomas Murtojärvi joined the band as session members and with this line-up Faerghail recorded the first demo tape titled “In Dreamful Supremacy” which was released in January 1996. The demo was recorded with a 4-tracker and the sounds were really awful, however the songs were quite good and “In Dreamful Supremacy” gained rather positive feedback. Soon after the release of “In Dreamful Supremacy” Jussi and Tuomas became full members of Faerghail, Jussi as a vocalist and synth player and Tuomas as a 2nd guitarist.

Sugar formed in 2005 consisting of Loki (ex-Vall’na Racill), Sizna, Koto and Atsuo.They officially began activity with a live at Urawa Narciss on February 1st of that year. Their first CD “ridicule/Dry Flower”, which was limited to 500 copies and consisted of two tracks, was distributed at this live.
During 2005 they played numerous live shows around Tokyo, at venues such as Ikebukuro Cyber, Urawa Narciss, Meguro Rokumei-kan, Holiday Shinjuku, Takadanobaba AREA etc, including a live celebrating AREA’s 8th year. On August 9th they played at a sponsored event, “kuro ari to shirozatou” to mark the upcoming release of their first maxi single, “Mental Sketch Modified”. After the release of the single on August 17th, the band played a free-entry one man live, “Mental Sketch Modified”, to mark the nation-wide sale of the single.

We all know that landing on the moon was a great big hoax and it all was filmed in a hollywood studio. Dr Edgar Mitchell being a veteran of the Apollo program must know all about cover ups and hoaxes. Apparently he also attempted ESP experiments while orbiting the earth so maybe he is just a crazy loon by nature. But on the other hand at 77 he has probably simply gone senile.

D’espairsRay was formed on September 9, 1999. They played their first concert on September 24, but waited until October to release their first single “Kumo”. It was such a successful single, that it was later re-released in 2001. The band continued to release new works and their fan base grew. In 2003, their single “Garnet” reached first place in the Indie Oricon rankings. The band started to get invited to visual kei events like the Beauti-fools Featival 2003. D’espairsRay success has continued to grow over the years. In 2005, the band went on two tours in the United States. Later that year, the band also visited Germany and France in a tour with Kagerou.
